Sinopsis
Yeon Ji-Young (Lim Yoon-A) adalah seorang koki Prancis dengan kepribadian yang ceria dan penuh tekad. Suatu hari, ia memenangkan kompetisi memasak Prancis, tetapi entah bagaimana ia mendapati dirinya terhanyut ke era Joseon. Ia kebetulan menyajikan makanannya untuk Raja Lee Heon (Lee Chae-Min) dari Joseon. Ia adalah tiran terburuk yang memegang kekuasaan absolut. Ia memang memiliki indera perasa yang luar biasa. Ia mampu merasakan perbedaan makanan bahkan ketika cuaca berubah. Ia kebetulan mencoba makanan Yeon Ji-Young dan menyukai apa yang ia buat. Ia memutuskan untuk membawanya ke istana kerajaan dan memintanya memasak untuknya. Yeon Ji-Young, yang ditawari pekerjaan di restoran berbintang 3 Michelin di Paris, mendapati dirinya bekerja untuk tiran Raja Lee Heon dan menyajikan masakan kerajaan fusi hanya untuknya. Sementara itu, Kang Mok-Ju (Kang Han-Na) adalah selir Raja Lee Heon. Ia serakah dan menyembunyikan ambisinya yang tak berujung untuk mendapatkan kekuasaan. Pangeran Jesan (Choi Gwi-Hwa) adalah anggota keluarga kerajaan. Ia adalah musuh politik Raja Lee Heon yang paling kuat.
